The numbers that Tories have to improve

The numbers that Tories have to improve

As a Tory activist going back twenty-five years I know first hand how badly anti-Tory tactical voting is for the party. This sort of polling was commonplace before July’s election and why I felt confident that the Tories were going to be shellacked like never before. Voters rate Badenoch as worse than Truss

Voters rate Badenoch as worse than Truss

This is why I prefer net positives rather than gross positives as it only shows one side rather than a fuller picture, in a broader context Badenoch isn’t as bad as Truss, yet. What the late Queen really thought about Boris Johnson

What the late Queen really thought about Boris Johnson

Quite rightly our current King was furious about how his mother was treated, Prince William was similarly furious about Boris Johnson’s role in ‘the greatest act of constitutional vandalism since Charles I sent soldiers to arrest five members of the Long Parliament’, I cannot see either asking Boris Johnson to form a government. Split ticketing is still real

Split ticketing is still real

From this side of the pond it felt like America was hyper-partisan and that split ticketing would be a thing of the past despite the polling showing otherwise but as we can see it still exists. I’ve not had deep dive in to the senate races but there should be some useful information to be gleaned on what sort of candidate they need to win the White House in 2028, after all this wasn’t a Trump landslide and as Bob…
