Can she go on implementing Leveson?
Yesterday when the Maria Miller expenses story with the apparent threats to the Telegraph broke I considered betting on her for next cabinet exit. Ladbrokes then had her at 12/1 but I held back.
Today the price has moved in to 3/1 and she’s become favourite in what is the bookies’ favourite political betting market.
I’ve lost a fair bit with punts on here in the past that I’m being much more guarded. It’s so easy to have a knee-jerk reaction to a piece of news and to lose money.

Cameron has proved himself to be extraordinarily stubborn when dealing with ministers in trouble and he isn’t going to change if at all possible.
Just one Tory, Liam Fox, has made a non-reshuffle exit since Cameron became PM in May 2010 – a testament to the PM’s resolve.
I thought Dave was wrong over Hunt and the current situation with Miller looks messy. But I’d need a lot more than 3/1 to make a bet.
What could be a good bet is from William Hill which offers odds of 6/4 that the Culture Secretary Maria Miller will still be in that post when the General Election takes place.
