How many of the leaders will still be there on election day?
The “poll” above is based on an an intriguing market from PaddyPower on how many of Cameron/Clegg/Miliband will still be leading their parties on the day of the general election. The options and prices are:-
None 16/1
One 6/1
Two 6/4
Three 10/11
What I like is that is is just the numbers and not who. So if you think Clegg will have gone and bet on 2, you still win if Clegg and Cameron are still there but but Miliband has gone.
It’s hard to see all three going and I find it it difficult envisaging that only one will be left standing so th 6/4 against 2 appears the best bet if you fancy locking your stake up for three and a half years.
There has been, of course, a fair bit of speculation that Clegg might take over from Cathy Ashton as the UK’s commissioner at the EU when her term comes up in 2014.
