Labour recover a point with Harris

This week’s poll from Harris Interactive is published in the Metro this morning – although fieldwork finished on Tuesday – the day the election was called.
So the poll, in the context of the current battle, is quite old and it is odd that it should have taken so long for the fieldwork to have been completed and for the findings to be published. Surveying actually started on the Wednesday before last.
The firm operates online with a polling panel similar to YouGov, Angus Reid, and Opinium.
Yet again an internet pollster records a highish total for others and there must be something about gauging public opinion in this way that creates this effect. YouGov’s would be in the same broad area but for its very tight political ID weighting for this segment – just 4% of the sample.
