With so many surveys all coming out overnight it can be quite hard digesting them and I’ve deferred publishing the YouGov daily poll detail until the BPIX/YouGov poll for the Mail on Sunday was also available.
BPIX operates on the YouGov platform polling from that firm’s panel so you would expect their numbers to be broadly in line. Even after nearly six years of them operating I have no idea what weightings they apply or have any other information about their approach.
Basically BPIX is the pollster that can’t be arsed. It doesn’t respond to emails or provide detailed data like the rest of the industry.
My understanding is that it is run academics at Essex University.
