Cameron is the only one of the four leaders polling better than his party
ComRes favourable/unfavourable ratings showing EdM’s doing worse against his party then Dave,Nick or Nigel twitter.com/MSmithsonPB/st…

The latest ComRes poll features a range of questions that are very common in the USA but which we rarely see in the UK – favourable/unfavourable ratings for people and parties.
I like this questioning a lot and let’s hope that the ComRes surveys for the Indy on Sunday/ S Mirror do it on a regular basis.
To my mind this gives a much better view than like/dislike or the other combinations that sometime appear.
What’s interesting here is that we can compare views of parties and leaders on the same basis.
- Labour is the most favourably viewed party but look at the gap with Ed Miliband.
Tory strategists believe that Ed Miliband is Labour’s weakest link and that’s likely to be a big focus in Lynton Crosby approach to GE2015.
