Getting the best out of “new Disqus
Yesterday the Disqus comment system was changed in a manner that doesn’t fit with the way PB operates. Unlike the old Disqus we are unable to change key features.
For the vast majority of us who like following chronological threads change the option under the discussion menu to new or old. The default is most popular.
On some mobile devices it is very hard to change. I have found that Chrome using the request desktop site option ticked works.
The other irritating feature is that all threads are nested.
There is no work round for this except for posters not to use the comment reply function.
We are lobbying Disqus on this but so far without success
