This afternoon’s big polling news is that the November poll for the Guardian by ICM has recorded a 7% share for UKIP, which is a record.
Until now there has been a big gap on the UKIP numbers between the phone polls where those sampled are interviewed and the less costly internet surveys. With this survey tonight things seem to be changing.
As regulars will know I’m a great fan of ICM which I regard as the gold standard and only last month the firm was voted overwhelmingly by PBers last month as “Britain’s most accurate”
