Will Yvette’s Sun column help or hinder her leadership chances?
Is she still worth an 11/4 bet?
Rupert Murdoch is obviously pretty proud of the move to bring in Yvette Cooper in the new Sunday edition of his paper. This was a Tweet from last night:-
Sun on Sunday improving every week.See tomorrow’s article by Yvette Cooper.Should stir the pot!Another big paper for 50p.

Clearly this is going to heighten public awareness of the shadow home secretary who is the strong favourite to be next LAB leader.
But what’s working with Rupert going to do to her chances if, indeed, she does stand in the next leadership contest.
Won’t she be open to the accusation that she’s undermined the anti-Murdoch rhetoric of the current LAB leader – Mr. Miliband?
Almost at one stroke Rupe has made it that more difficult for Ed to get mileage out of the whole News International situation. If he tries to push at PMQs you can see Yvette’s relationship being flung back into his face by Cameron.
A brilliant move by Murdoch. It’s value to Yvette? We’ll have to see.
Bet365 have Yvette at 15/8, PaddyPower at 11/4, William Hill 6/4 with Ladbrokes at 5/2.
