Who have been the posters of the year?

In March 2009 PB will celebrating it’s fifth birthday at special events that we hope to arrange in London and possibly in the north of England as well. If the site stays as busy as it has been then by the due date, March 23rd 2009, the number of comments that have been posted here could have topped the one million mark.

As part of the celebration we want to honour those contributors who have added most to the site during 2008 and we are seeking sponsorship so that we can give them some form of prize. These are the categories:-

The most insightful contributor:- This should go to the person whose posts consistently add to our understanding of what’s going on.

The most amusing contributor:- This should go to the person whose contribution have been most likely to make you laugh.

The best betting tipster:- This should go to the person who has consistently produced the best betting advice.

The newcomer of the year:- This should go to the person who started posting here during 2008 who has added most to the site.

Please use this thread to make your nominations and, if you want, a short statement in support of your case. Please head each comment with the word NOMINATIONS – to make it easier for us to process.

Please note that the three of us who run the site, Paul Maggs, Morus and myself are not eligible for nomination – we will be doing the short-listing. Nominations will close at 2359 pm tomorrow.

There will be online voting later in the week.
